I doubt Hawk would ever consider a conversion personally, unless it was an option, or clean interchange.but, his general knowledge regarding Ford interchange and design is scary. You might want to consult with a guy (Tom Cherry aka Hawkrod) over at, who's an interchange guru for fords. Dont know that any replacements are available, I think the Bird Nest will replace the shaft cord that pulls the antenna sections up. Youd need to do something similar for the full electrical schematic diagrams that are in the Shop Manual if you want larger copies. A pedal assembly can be a complex project unto itself.a good background in boneyard/interchange knowledge might help with the fabrication or adaption. dump the era brake system and replace with something with tandem provisions for hydraulic clutch actuation. One on the passenger/right side of the engine bay, mounted to the front of the shock/spring tower, with two vacuum nipples - one large (7/32' OD) and one small (5/32' OD).
